Travelogue

  • A heartwarming destination next to Futian Convention and Exhibition Center

This time, I came to Futian, Shenzhen to participate in an industry exhibition and specifically booked Lux Cabins Hotel Shenzhen. As a business person who travels to the Pearl River Delta for exhibitions all year round, I have stayed in hotels ranging from 100 to 80. This three-day stay experience truly warmed me up to its first-class service.
As soon as I dragged two large boxes of exhibition materials downstairs from the hotel, the staff at the gate immediately greeted me and took the heavy display rack and suitcase from my hand. They helped me all the way to the lobby on the third floor, and even picked up the computer bag I wanted to carry myself without any effort. When checking in, the front desk immediately recognized me as an exhibitor who had been noted online. Not only did they upgrade my room to a quiet high-rise in advance, but they also handed me a handwritten exhibition exclusive tip, indicating the fast security checkpoint near the exhibition hall, 24-hour stores that can print exhibition materials in the surrounding area, and even the small habit of "not eating coriander" that I had noted was carefully recorded in the corner of the notes, reminding me to directly explain to my aunt when picking up food from the restaurant.
On the first day of my stay, I was busy until 11pm when I returned from the exhibition hall. As soon as I arrived at the lobby, the staff handed me a cup of hot aged tangerine peel and ginger tea, saying that they knew from my social media posts that I had been using the air conditioning in the exhibition hall all day and had prepared in advance to help me drive away the cold. When I returned to my room, I realized that the crumpled exhibition business card I had casually placed on the table during the day had been neatly organized by the staff and stored in the business card box. Even the exhibition proposal I had spread out on the table had been thoughtfully fastened with paper clips, and a spare business signature pen was also placed next to it. Halfway through, I suddenly realized that I forgot to bring the exhibition ribbon I needed the next day. With a try it out attitude, I asked the front desk and within an hour, the staff delivered the customized ribbon to my room, which did not delay my exhibition schedule the next day.
On the second day of my stay in Shenzhen, it suddenly began to rain rainstorm. I came back to the hotel half wet when I came out of the exhibition hall. As soon as I came in, a staff member handed me a dry towel and offered to help me dry and iron my wet suit coat. When I came out of the shower, the flat and straight coat had been hung on the hanger at the door of the room. On the day I checked out, I hurried back to Guangzhou in the morning on the high-speed railway. The front desk packed a warm Cantonese style morning tea Dim sum bag for me in advance, which contained shrimp dumplings, quicksand bags and hot soybean milk. It also specially called a special bus for me to wait downstairs 10 minutes in advance. Even the spare USB stick I left in the corner of the terrace has been loaded into the side bag of my backpack in advance.
There was no excessive disturbance of polite greetings throughout the entire process, and all the services were just at the point where I needed them the most, quietly resolving all the small troubles of the exhibition and business trip. Encountering such a hotel in the core area of Futian that provides detailed services is a pleasant surprise for exhibition travel. Next time I come to Shenzhen for an exhibition, Lux Cabins Hotel Shenzhen will definitely be my first choice.Show more

  • Sky Garden next to Futian Convention and Exhibition: The Travel Healing Nest I Found in Shenzhen

This time I came to Futian, Shenzhen to participate in an industry exhibition, and specifically chose Lux Cabins Hotel Shenzhen. As a business person who travels to the Pearl River Delta for exhibitions all year round, I originally only wanted it to be close to the exhibition hall. However, after staying for three days, it directly raised my expectations for travel hotels in the core area of Shenzhen.
The hotel is located on the podium of Union Square next to Binhe Avenue. It is less than 400 meters' walk from Exit E of Gangxia Subway Station on Line 1 and Line 10. You can walk a few steps with your luggage to enter the lobby, without having to rush in the sun. When checking in, the front desk staff immediately recognized me as an exhibitor who was going to the exhibition center the next day. They took the initiative to upgrade me to a garden room with a small terrace and gave me a handwritten morning rush hour route to avoid traffic. They also marked a shortcut to reach the exhibition hall within a 10 minute walk, without having to squeeze into the congested main roads around the exhibition center.
As soon as I pushed open the door, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was in a light luxury garden style, without the rigid and cold feeling of a chain business hotel. The warm toned lighting matched the high-quality soft furnishings, and even the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet, which was cleaned spotless and completely devoid of any hygiene blind spots. The most amazing thing is the small terrace that comes with the room, with small tables and chairs and a few fresh green plants. After a busy day of exhibitions, sitting on the terrace and enjoying the evening breeze of Shenzhen, watching the lights of high-rise buildings in Futian CBD in the distance, the exhaustion of the whole day has dissipated. The hotel bedding is made of high count white goose down material, which is fluffy and warm. Even if you sleep with the air conditioning on all night, you won't feel dry mouth and tongue. You have slept soundly for three consecutive days.
What is even more surprising is the sincerity of the hotel's supporting facilities. An 800 square meter open-air garden is hidden on the rooftop, filled with scattered flowers and plants. When inviting clients to discuss matters, there is no need to look for an outside caf é. Find a corner in the garden to sit down and chat about cooperation while enjoying the breeze. The atmosphere is much more relaxed than a closed conference room. The hotel also provides free three meals a day and a dedicated laundry service. Even if you miss your meal during the exhibition, you can still enjoy hot home cooked meals when you come back. You can hand over your formal attire to the front desk, wash and iron it neatly, and send it back to your room without having to deal with it yourself. The self-service coffee machine in the lobby is available 24 hours a day. When rushing to make plans late at night, you can go downstairs to pick up a freshly ground coffee and instantly regain its status. There are also intelligent robots to help deliver food and items, without the need for phone reminders, and things can be delivered to the door in just a few minutes.
The convenience of the location is even greater. It takes only 5 minutes by car to reach Huanggang Port, and it is particularly convenient to go to Hong Kong for customs clearance. It takes 3-8 minutes by car to reach Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, COCOPARK, and Futian High speed Railway Station. Whether it is to set up exhibitions at the exhibition hall, invite customers for meals, or catch the high-speed train back, there is no need to waste time on commuting. In the core area of Futian, where every inch of land is precious, finding a hotel that balances convenience, comfort, and cost-effectiveness is truly a treasure trove for exhibitions and business trips. Next time I come to Shenzhen for an exhibition, I will definitely choose Lux Cabins Hotel Shenzhenas soon as possible.Show more
